The University is located in the south of Regensburg. It is a walking distance within 30 minutes from the inner city or 10 minutes by bus, starting from bus terminal (Busstreff Albertstraße).

By Train and Bus

Trains from Munich, Nuremberg or Passau arrive at Regensburg main station every hour.

From the main station you can reach the bus terminal 'Bustreff Albertstraße' by a walking distance of 5 minutes.

At the bus terminal take

• bus number 6, direction Klinikum
• or bus number 11, direction Burgweinting

Both lines leave the bus terminal at a stop located around the corner at the east end of the terminal (turn right coming von the train station). Get off at the stop Universität/Mensa.
The Chemistry and Pharmacy building can be located at the south east on the campus map given above. Coming from the bus stop 'Mensa/Universität' take the stair up to the campus and walk over the bridge or through the building of the coputational center (Rechenzentrum).

By car

Coming from direction Munich or Hof / Weiden (highway A93)

Follow highway A93 to the highway-junction Regensburg. Here follow highway A3 direction Passau and take the first exit (exit 100a, Universität / Klinikum). Follow the signs 'Universität'.

Coming from direction Nuremberg, higway A3

Follow highway A3 direction Passau and take the first exit after the highway-junction (exit 100a, Universität / Klinikum). Follow the signs 'Universität'.

Coming from direction Passau, higway A3

Take the last exit before you reach the highway-junction Regensburg (exit 100a, Universität / Klinikum). Follow the signs 'Universität'.

Parking Opportunities

• Parking places at the Chemistry and Pharmacy building: After the highway overpass turn left at the traffic light, direction 'Biopark'. This route finder Josef-Engert-Straße, 93053 Regensburg, Regensburg, Bayern, Deutschland may be useful.

By plane

Airport Munich 'Franz-Josef-Strauß'

Take bus number 635 to Freising (appr. 15 min., timetables"). From there take a train to Regensburg main station (appr. 1 h, timetables).

Alternatively take the direct shuttle service 'airport Liner'. More informations and booking service under www.airportsprinter.de.

Airport Nuremberg

Take the subway U2 to Nuremberg main train station (appr. 15 min., timetables, german only") and then take the train to Regensburg main station (appr. 1 h, timetables).

Airport Frankfurt

Take the train to Regensburg main station (appr. 3 h, ) timetables.
